Please Help us Design the Car of the Future!

Have you got 15 minutes? Please Help Us Design the Car of the Future! Even though driving is becoming safer, an unacceptably high number of fatal accidents still occur on European Roads. This is why the European Union has developed an action plan targeting a 50% reduction in the number of road fatalities and serious injuries by 2010 across the EU.

In this context, the importance of electronic aids such as ABS (anti-lock braking system) or ESC (electronic stability control) has risen dramatically. An array of safety systems such as these are currently being developed and installed in new cars, even as we speak. The number of new safety technologies coming on to the market and into the car can be overwhelming for the consumer when confronted with all these new in-car safety devices  whose purpose and mode of operation are not fully understood or appreciated.

In order to help stimulate a positive approach, the European Automobile Clubs invite you to contribute your input to a project intended to influence the future of such eSafety systems. We would like you to tell us which ones you find interesting and useful and which ones you find just plain annoying and distracting? Please help us shape the car of the future by filling in this questionnaire. The survey will take 15 minutes to complete but by doing so you will be contributing to the safety of everyone!

In order to give us a better overview, please complete the questionnaire according to your country of origin and mother tongue by clicking on the links below.
